It will take you about 15 minutes walk to reach kandy municipal central market. No reason to complain. Food is tasty. Free parking was provided to the guests.

We visited that hotel before and we truly enjoyed the food and service. The staff was HELPFUL providing assistance. One could dine at restaurants such as Sharon Inn 5 minutes away. A private kitchen was a great addition.

Lovely base with good standard, clean rooms, comfy beds, hot shower, balcony with city view. Rooftop restaurant with great views. Friendly and helpful staff, made us feel safe. Good location near bars and restaurants.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Wonderful view from the restaurant and patio. Warm welcome by Manager Jude. Great Sri Lankan food - so tasty! Comfortable rooms with lounge area to share in each section of three rooms. Well furnished.
The stairs! But its a small hotel on a hill - thats just part of its attraction too.

During our Xmas stay, we enjoyed the lovely rooms with great views and the friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located at a convenient distance, approximately 15 minutes walk from the city center. the good wifi facility was a bonus for us.
We were disappointed that breakfast was not included in the price of our stay and that laundry services were expensive and not up to standard. the timing restrictions and stained sheets took away from the experience.

Good choice of fruits and cooked items at buffet breakfast. Restaurant provides huge portions of standard Sri Lankan and Chinese style dishes at reasonable prices. Located 20 mins walk along the lake shore from the town centre albeit at top of a bit of a climb up the Sarankara Road. Friendly staff.
Bathrooms lacked ventilation and developed a somewhat musty smell.

We enjoyed the pleasant stay at this hotel with its amazing cascading greenery on hill top. The hotel offered us the best location with its proximity to the center of the town and its closeness to the lake. We appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms with comfortable beds, nice decor, and the availability of parking. The hotel facilities were great, with a rooftop terrace restaurant serving delicious breakfast and dinner.
Couldn't stay longer.

This 12 room hotel is well run, very clean and has a good location, being not far out of the centre of Kandy. It is very quiet and also offers nice lounge areas on each floor. Rooms only have queen size beds, so limiting from a point of view of room-sharing. However the rooms are a good size. I was fortunate to have one of (4 only) the Kandy lake- facing rooms with a nice view and elevation balcony but most of the rooms are located to the side of the building and dont have such nice views. The manger Mr Fernando was always most helpful and congenial and he manages this small hotel well. There was always a nice choice on the breakfast buffet with a daily srilankan option available and plenty of fresh fruit. Overall, this hotel is good value.
The road access to the main entrance of this hotel is a very bad road and not suitable for walking. Means you really have to take a tuk-tuk to get into Kandy. There is an upper entrance available which accesses a road with a much better surface and provides a much better walk into the town but the hotel closes the gate to this upper road at 900;pm so you always need to come home via the poor road if after this time at night. My only criticism of the hotel is that it would be nice to have some furniture on the room balcony, also some recliners on the roof top deck would be a nice addition. Wifi availability in-room would also be an added advantage as it is only available in the restaurant-roof deck area which is quite a distance up stairs from guest rooms.

I was traveling alone and first time in Kandy, I was so lucky to have this hotel. I was walking along the river and I was bitten by street dog .Hotel manager Jude and his wife took me to the hospital. I had quick treatment and injection. That cost was more than 300 usd. The hotel owner and Jude didnt even want me to pay for the hospital fee. They paid everything for me . They said, because I am their guest and they had to take care of me. Hotel staff and Jude even brought some soup and food for me at the hospital and they waited for me until my treatment finished. I am also working for service industry and I know what is good service. But what they did for me is not just good service, that was truely kindness from the bottom of their beautiful heart. My experience was beyond my expectation and I was so moved by thier real hospitality mind.
